Common questions

  • Do I have to install anything on my site?

    No. agentweb is a passive scanner — we make HTTP requests to your public site (the same kinds of requests an AI agent would make) and score what we get back. Nothing to install, no SDK, no JavaScript on your origin.

  • What if my site is bot-blocked at the CDN?

    We detect the wall and surface it. Most AI crawlers and autonomous browser agents fail at the same wall — a Cloudflare interactive challenge or Akamai Bot Manager will reject ChatGPT-User the same way it rejects us. The report says so explicitly.

  • Is my report public?

    Never by default. Every report is owned by the email that ran the scan and gated behind a magic-link sign-in. You can email-share it to specific recipients (read-only, revocable). There is no leaderboard.

  • Can I run this on a competitor's site?

    Technically yes — anyone can scan any public URL. But the agent matrix is the most useful when you can act on the result, which means scanning your own brand. Reports of a competitor's site live on the email that ran them, same as any other report.
